Located just off the escalator on old bailey street adjacent to the lovingly restored, historical Tai Kwun complex. You will find a modest and rustic, restaurant called La Brata. Known for our generous portions, comforting homemade pastas, Burrata direct from Puglia, and our one metre long boards of assorted cold cuts & cheeses.
Chef Filippo Bencini hails from the Italian city of Parma and pours his heart and soul into every dish he creates. Everyday we strive to stay true to our roots and give you a truly authentic, cozy and welcoming experience.
Feast on a one metre long board of a delicious variety of cold cuts, cheeses and pair with fresh burrata drizzled in rich deep green olive oil.
No meal is complete without it and literally means “pick me up” and it sure will! Simple, glourious flavours, whipped together is heaven on a spoon. Tip: Use a teaspoon so it lasts longer!

"Friends of ours are regulars at this restaurant and we decided to visit as a group of 10. Great little Italian restaurant and I had been wanting to find a little trattoria in Hong Kong- like they have all over Italy. This is it - a nice homely restaurant with great staff. Fantastic vibe as it was packed with diners. We had shared platters and for me the duck ragu and the burrata mozzarella cheese were winners but everything we had was good. For those that haven’t tried burrata cheese dishes - they are simple yet sensational. Individual diners can sit up at the bar - which is great for travellers looking for simple Italian home style food done exceptionally well."Believe the hype!
